Esteban is the 10 year old son of Lorena Tarin, and he is very helpful around the house helping his mother with household chores. He is in the 5th grade at Scotland Park Elementary School where his favorite subject is science. He plans on attending Oklahoma State University where the hopes to learn how to be a lawyer.
Esteban attends the Northeast Branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls where he has been a member for 4 years. He is active there in game room, gym, and learning center activities. He also enjoys leadership roles that being a member of the Torch Club offers. He is enthusiastic about getting involved in as many special events as possible; thus, he participates annually in the Elk’s Hoop Shoot, Optimist Tri-Star Basketball, the annual Christmas Party, and National Boys & Girls Clubs Week. In addition, Esteban is a member of the Passport to Manhood where he has learned the importance of making good choices while taking care of this mind and body! He has participated in Youth Athletic Programs through the Boys and Girls Club such as: Basketball, Football (his team won the Toy Bowl), and Indoor Soccer.
A Boys & Girls Club Staff member noted: “Esteban qualifies as a real club kid; he’s bright, positive, and helpful – always willing to help the staff in every area of the club!”
